Christine Redicker & Peter Wabbit
Hi my name is Christine Rediker. I have two dogs going to the worlds. One is Peter Wabbitt, he s six years old and this is his second time at the worlds. Hopefully he will do much better this time. Wish me luck. My second dog Giddy Up, is a tiny little toy poodle, with a huge heart. This will be her first time at the worlds. I can t wait to see if she is the boss, and I follow, or if we work together, and get the gold. We will see. -
Jamie Moreau & Batman
I am very excited and honoured that Batman and I have been selected for the 2012 IFCS Canada Team. I have been competing in dog agility for approximately 5 yrs and this will be my first time representing Canada. Batman and I have only been a team for 2yrs and so far we have had many memorable accomplishments with AAC events. As we have established our partnership, Batman has not been afraid to show his energetic and enthusiastic personality. I can honestly say it's been an adventure getting to know this 'fluffy' little dog. On a part time basis I am an instructor at McCann Professional Dog Trainers and assist Kayl McCann (also a IFCS World Team Member) with the agility program offered at their facility. I share my life with my supportive husband Derek and 1 yr old daughter Avery. Currently we have 4 dogs LuLu & Newton (Boston Terrier's), Wink (All Canadian) and Batman Aka Mr. B (Papillon) When I am not training dogs I work full time in the social service field as a Director of Service for a foster care agency. Batman and I are very lucky to have so much support from friends and family. We are looking forward to this amazing opportunity to represent Canada in the 2012 World Championships! -

Annie Vezina & Mec
Annie et Mec Hello everyone, It is with excitement and enthusiasm that I am preparing for and will be participating in, with the Canadian team in my 1st World Championship with my Shetland Sheepdog, Mec who is 3 1/2 yrs old. Orginating from Québec, I first started in the canin world in obedience and conformation, 20 yrs ago. Since 4 1/2 yrs I have now turned my passion towards agility. I try each day to be the best I can be without forgetting to also have fun. I'm certain that this trip will be very enriching and I will be ready to carry the torch in need be. Annie and Mec -
Kim Cullen & Recess
For more than a decade, Kim has been an active participant in agility, competing in AAC, USDAA, CKC and NADAC venues with her dogs, placing numerous times at Regional and National Championships. Kim and Recess were the 2008 AAC National Champions and the 2011 AAC Ontario Regional Champions in the 22” Regular Division. Kim has competed at the international level in agility for the last several years. She and Recess were previously named to the 2008 and 2010 Canadian IFCS World Teams, bringing home a silver and bronze medal in 2010. Kim and Recess have participated in four USDAA Cynosport World Games, winning the Dog Agility Masters 3-Dog Team Event in 2010, and making the Steeplechase Finals in 2008. Kim and Recess also represented Canada at the inaugural World Agility Open Championships in 2011, bringing home a bronze medal in the Agility Games event, and placing 8th overall in the Agility Pentathlon event. Kim lives with her three dogs (Recess, Gossip & Savvy), two children (Ryan and Kenzie) and husband John in Ancaster, Ontario. She is thrilled to be representing the AAC and Canada for a third time at the IFCS World Agility Championships and is looking forward to playing her favourite game with her soul sister - Recess - this spring in Texas! -
Adrian Rooyakkers & Fizz
I have been involved with dogs full-time for over 18 years. I have enjoyed training, teaching and competing in agility for the past 12 years and judging agility for the past 10 years. I’m a very competitive person and wanted a high drive dog. Fizz is a wonderful partner. She is amazing to train and trial with. She loves life and always gives me 150%. Fizz and I have successfully competed in the AAC, AKC, CKC, FCI & USDAA agility organizations and have shared many great moments over the years. I would like to thank all my friends who have supported me in my endeavour to be the best. We are prepared, excited, and can’t wait to represent Canada again this May. Looking forward to getting to Texas!!! Go Canada Go! -
Kayl McCann & Slyce
I am so excited to represent Canada for the 5th time at the IFCS World Agility Championships! This year I am running my Border Collie “Slyce” in the 22” division. Slyce is 9 years old and with her experience and our well rehearsed team work, I’m hoping to give it all we got this year :) Slyce has had a very busy year! She’s been competing in Agility and also recovering from having a litter of puppies in May of 2011. In October 2011, Slyce earned a Silver Medal at the Cynosport World Games in the Grand Prix Class. She and I were also one of the few Canadian teams to make both the Steeplechase and Grand Prix Finals. Slyce was on the IFCS Team in 2008 and competed in Belgium. At this World Championship, she earned 3 Gold Medals, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze Medal. Even though she is pushing in age, I believe we are a stronger team then we have ever been and I'm hoping 2012 will be a great year for us! I keep very busy teaching Agility Classes & Seminars at McCann Professional Dog Trainers as my full time job. I compete in Flyball and also spend a lot of time training and conditioning my 6 dogs (as well as try to maintain a social life! lol). Recently, my new addiction is my new Border Collie Pup “Grand Slam”. Slam is Slyce’s son and is already stealing my heart, just like his mom did! I am really looking forward to preparing Slyce for the World Stage - She is a joy to train and to compete with in Agility! I’m very proud of my old girl and ready to kick some butt :P I’m honored to be representing the AAC and our country this year in Texas! We have an AWESOME team roster and I just KNOW that Team Canada is GONNA SPANK IT!!! -
Sandra Orr & Shiraz
Shiraz and I are very honoured to have been chosen to be on the 2012 AAC team to represent Canada in Texas at the IFCS competition. This is Shiraz's second time on the team, her first being in 2010 when we represented Canada in England. Having been an avid supporter of AAC since 1995 when I started agility with my first dog Whitney, it is very important to me to be able to be a representative of the AAC at this world event and at all agility events I participate in. Shiraz has been a wonderful companion and partner to me her entire career and I am always thrilled to step to the line with her whether at home or abroad. Thank you AAC for giving us another opportunity to be part of your team. -
Tiffany Salmon & Rio
I’m so very thrilled that Rio has allowed me to join her on another World Team adventure! I love my red dog! Anytime we step to the line at a big competition, she makes me look good. Both of us thrive on running challenging courses and welcome whatever the judges can throw at us. The 2012 IFCS World Championships will be the third time I’ve competed at an IFCS event and will mark the fifth time Rio has represented Canada at the World level. I think I can speak on behalf of Rio when I say that she is so very happy to not be flying across the Atlantic this time. We can’t wait to compete so ‘close’ to home! We look forward to training hard this winter and we will do our best to show the world what Canadian Agility dogs can do! -
Fred Waters & Tânafon
I am both thrilled and very proud that Tânafon and I are representing Canada and the AAC on the large dog team at the IFCS World Agility Championship in 2012. Though this will be Tânafon’s first IFCS experience it will be the third time that she and I have represented Canada at an international agility event in the last 20 months. Tânafon was first introduced to the pressure, excitement and noise of international agility one week after she turned three in 2010 and she took it all in her stride. She is a confident and eager competitor. Whether at an international event or training in our backyard, she is ever-ready and eager to take on all the twists and turns of those thrilling European courses. For the past ten years I have been passionate about the sport of dog agility. I get my daily inspiration from the focus, energy and learning that my three highly-motivated Border Collies and I share when we train and play-work together. I am very grateful that they are all a part of my life. I would like to thank everyone who continues to support me in the pursuit of my agility dream and I applaud and support all who encourage international-style agility as a sport in Canada. -
Susan Garrett & Feature
Feature’s comedic way is an endless source of belly laughs for anyone that spends time with her. If there is a serious side to Feature’s personality we have yet to see it. She is carefree and laid back about everything she does, yet has an attitude of high expectation in all that she attempts. As just a four year old dog Feature has already accomplished so much in the world of dog agility. Her effortless way around an agility ring never ceases to amaze me. I couldn’t ask for more in companion or a competition dog and have a love and admiration for Feature beyond what words can describe. Feature had a 6 months hiatus from the sport in 2011 while she raised her puppy “Swagger” I feel she is back stronger than ever and together we both have high expectations to do Canada proud at the 2012 IFCS World Championships. As a full time dog trainer that travels the world helping others to inspire their own dogs; I truly am living my dream. However I always feel a special pride when I have the honour to once again represent Canada at a World Championship event. I am proud to be selected amongst this very talented group of Canadian dog and handler teams and look forward to an exciting year for Canadian agility. You can learn more about me and my dogs through my blog at www.susangarrettdogagility.com. -

Jane Newman-Ralph & JT
Hi all JT and I are thrilled to be on the IFCS team as 2nd alternate. I have spent most of my life training Hackney Horses and Hackney Ponies, showing, training and breeding both Canadian and World champions. Roughly 16 years ago I moved to Ottawa and with my mixed hound ,Willie, where we began our agility career at Dreamfields with Del and Cecilia Hersey. I move to Kingston in '02 and adopted JT as a pup in '04. Now on our own it was a challenge to understand how to work with this fast but biddable BC. We began our journey with Lo Baker in New Hampshire. It is here that I learned the skills needed to work as a team. We love thinking out of the box and to work through difficult courses. For us the journey has been exhilarating. Running on the edge gives true meaning to "just having fun with your dog". Thank you to our team leaders Tracy, Shona, Gay, as well as, the AAC for giving us the opportunity to train and travel as a world team member to the 2012 IFCS championships as a 26" alternate.
