2012 TEAM CANADA

Hi all JT and I are thrilled to be on the IFCS team as 2nd alternate. I have spent most of my life training Hackney Horses and Hackney Ponies, showing, training and breeding both Canadian and World champions. Roughly 16 years ago I moved to Ottawa and with my mixed hound ,Willie, where we began our agility career at Dreamfields with Del and Cecilia Hersey. I move to Kingston in '02 and adopted JT as a pup in '04. Now on our own it was a challenge to understand how to work with this fast but biddable BC. We began our journey with Lo Baker in New Hampshire. It is here that I learned the skills needed to work as a team. We love thinking out of the box and to work through difficult courses. For us the journey has been exhilarating. Running on the edge gives true meaning to "just having fun with your dog". Thank you to our team leaders Tracy, Shona, Gay, as well as, the AAC for giving us the opportunity to train and travel as a world team member to the 2012 IFCS championships as a 26" alternate.
